Analyst: Educators understand and use data to drive their instruction and support students in achieving their learning goals. During my two semesters Junior year working as a student clinician at the Miller Speech and Hearing Clinic on TCU’s campus, I was assigned to two separate clients. At the beginning of each semester, I conducted a pre-assessment of each client based on the goals they worked to achieve with their prior clinician. I conducted an hour-long assessment, met with my advisor to discuss their results, and developed a set of training goals for my client to achieve by the end of the semester. At the end of each semester, I conducted a post assessment to analyze my client’s progress throughout the semester.
