Early Childhood-Grade 6 classrooms teachers consistently hold themselves to a high standard for individual development, collaborate with other educational professionals, communicate regularly with stakeholders, maintain professional relationships, comply with all campus and school district policies, and conduct themselves ethically and with integrity. In both semesters of clinic, I conducted a pre-assessment to analyze my client’s strengths and needs. I then created a set of training goals for my client to achieve throughout the semester, and I conducted a post assessment to analyze my client’s progress. Lastly, I developed a summary of therapy to review my client’s progress and future needs. This paperwork allowed me to advocate for my clients and focus on their unique needs while maintaining thorough and accurate records. This paperwork also gave me the opportunity to reflect on my own strengths and professional learning needs. After completing each form, I met with my advisor to review and discuss how I could improve as a clinician to best support my clients.
